Protection runs before, during and after every connection.
Anyone can make a face now. Proving a person is real is the job — and doing it well means checking sign-ups, photos, messages and payments, then acting proportionately when something looks wrong.
Four threats, and where each one is stopped
Romance fraud is run as a business. These are the four classes of attack every dating product faces, and the point in the journey at which D8N intervenes.
AI-made faces
Generated photos are caught before a profile goes live.
Bots at scale
Scripted accounts are linked and removed together.
Romance scams
Money requests from new matches are flagged in the chat.
Payment fraud
Risky cards are stopped before they become chargebacks.
What happens, and when
Verify and Real confirm people are who they say. Trust weighs every signal. Protect acts on risk. Guard stops banned actors coming back under a new name, on any D8N product.

Trust states, not one public score
Every state has reasons, evidence and a recommended action. What each mark means — and what it does not
A trust mark that overclaims is worse than no mark, because it transfers a member's caution onto a promise we cannot keep. So each one states its limits as plainly as its meaning.

Straight answers
If something here is unclear, or you believe we have it wrong, tell us — that is worth more to us than a clean page.
What is the D8N Trust Centre?
It is the public explanation of how protection works on every D8N product: what is checked before two people interact, what happens while they talk, what happens when risk rises, and what happens after abuse is confirmed. It also states plainly what each trust mark does not mean.
Is there a public trust score on a profile?
No. D8N uses trust states internally — Trusted through Critical — and each state carries reasons, evidence and a recommended action. A single public number invites gaming and tells a member nothing useful, so it is not shown.
What happens when I report someone?
The report becomes a case with the evidence attached. A human reviews it, the action taken is recorded against the operator who took it, and the member it was taken against can appeal. Confirmed abuse leads to enforcement that carries across every brand on the platform.
Does a ban on one D8N brand apply to the others?
For confirmed abuse, yes. D8N Guard stops a banned actor from creating an account on any brand on the platform, and the pattern behind the ban improves detection network-wide.
Who can see my ID document?
Nobody, in ordinary operations. Documents and biometric templates are held in the Trust Vault, separate from the operator surface and purpose-limited to the check they were collected for. Exceptional access is logged and reviewed.
